Founded in the United Kingdom in 1976 as the Police Defensive Tactics Study Group.
1976 - 1985 ILETA trained officers from the Metropolitan Police, Norfolk, suffolk, Sussex, Devon and Cornwall and West Yorkshire Police in defensive tactics, method of arrest and rstraint and police impact weaponry.
Internationally ILETA's Counter Terror Group has been responsible for training thefollowing Special Units:
Estonia - Special Operations Group and Police Special Reserve Brigade
Latvia - Special Intervention Group (Omega Teams)
Ukraine - ALFA, BERKYT, TITAN, MANGUSE
Russia - SOBR, OMON, GRAD
Crimea - SOKOL, BERKYT, KGB
Spain - HALCON, CRS18
USA - USAFE EST, USMC, SRT, Charlie Coy 10th SFG |
