International Bodyguard Association

Is the oldest and largest Bodyguard Association with sites of protective service and education worldwide.

It has been the forefront of bodyguard education in the emerging Baltic and Balkan Republic, the European Union, throughout New Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Afghanistan.

During 2004, the IBA in addition to its regular courses trained classes of Iraqi Police, Cambodian Police and elements of the US Army’s 1st Special Forces Group.

In 2005 IBA training was provided for the Thai National Police and the Royal Thai Navy SEALS. In 2007 the Mongolian Government organized IBA courses for their Special Forces and Police SWAT teams.

IBA graduates successfully and safely continue to complete high risk PSD and CP missions in Iraq and South East Asia.

International Law Enforcement Training Agency

Founded in the United Kingdom in 1976 as the Police Defensive Tactics Study Group. Between 1976—1985 ILETA trained officers from the Metropolitan Police, Norfolk, Suffolk, Sussex, Devon & Cornwall and West Yorkshire in police defensive tactics, methods of arrest and restraint and police impact weaponry.

Internationally, ILETA trained police officers from the Liege Anti Bandit Unit and 20 municipalities and Special Units in Belgium.

As part of ‘Operation Peacekeeper’ Special Weapons and Tactics teams and security police at principal bases in the UK were trained in police defensive tactics.

The Counter Terror Group (CTG) of ILETA since 1980 has been responsible for training the following Special Units:

Estonia: Special Operations Group and Police Special Reserve Brigade

Latvia: Special Intervention Group (Omega Teams)

Ukraine: ALFA, BERKYT, TITAN, MANGUSE

Russia: SOBR, OMON, GRAD

Crimea: SOKOL, BERKYT, KGB

USA: USAFE ‘EST’, USMC, SRT, Charlie Coy; 10th SFG

PNG: Police Reserve MAIP

Cameroon: Special Operations Group

Kuwait: Interior Military Unit

Spain: Halcon; CRS18
