Text Box: Close Protection / Bodyguard Course : Level 3 Close Protection Operations (Required for SIA Frontline CP Licence) This course covers all the subjects required to get the Level 3 vocational qualification in Close Protection Operations and is an intensive programme of 150 hours over 16 days continuous. Unit 1: Skills and Teamwork in Close Protection              Unit 2:  Legislation, Communication and Conflict Management in Close Protection Unit 3:  Risk Assessment, Operational Planning and Safe Route Selection   Unit 4:  Surveillance, Reconnaissance, Incidents and Dilemmas           Unit 5:   Techniques For Close Protection Officers         The cost of this course including instruction, course handouts, registration and examination fees is £1800. Full payment is required on starting course and may be paid in instalments before the start. A deposit of £600. is required to book a place which is non refundable. This course is run regularly throughout the year for details and dates call our training partner PLATOON STORES: 01634 829063 __________________________________________________________________________ Air Protection Group — Air Security Officer (ASO) Programme (Dates and Venue to be confirmed) The Air Protection Group is the aviation security division of the International Law Enforcement training Agency (ILETA) the Air Security Officer programme is also effective for selected cabin staff when forced to deal with challenging behaviour or control aggressive and violent passengers. The ASO programme was designed as an alternative to the Sky Marshall Programme and because of its non lethat intervention skills prevents the introduction of firearms within the cabin of any aircraft. Using conflict management and tactical communications skills to gain advantage, supplemented with practical unarmed defensive tactics and restraint techniques specifically selected to be used in the confines of an aircrafts cabin it includes the option to escalate to control the threat by use of handcuffs and the autolock expandable baton. Previous training was for airline companies and selected personnel, but now due to the interest expressed by individuals we are compiling a register of interest parties to take part in this inaugural independent training programme. Completion of this course will be recognized by diploma awarded by the International Law Enforcement Training Agency — Air Protection Group.
